This month, I had the opportunity to take part in an in-depth, hands-on training session focused on Riedel communications systems, a key tool in the world of professional live sound production. The session covered everything from system setup and configuration to real-world applications in live event environments.
We explored the core features of Riedel Artist platform and its functionalities combined with the Riedel Bolero — learning how to design efficient comms networks, manage wireless communication across large venues, and troubleshoot in fast-paced production scenarios. Getting to work directly with the hardware and software gave me practical insights into signal routing, redundancy planning, and integration with existing audio systems.
This training was an invaluable experience in sharpening my technical skills and deepening my understanding of comms workflows for live shows, concerts, and broadcast-level productions.
